Why NASCAR's Brandon Brown Controversy May Get WORSE
The “Let’s Go Brandon” meme has swept across the globe in the months following the 2021 Talladega win that Brandon Brown scored in the Xfinity Series. This seemed to peak in NASCAR this past offseason as Brandon, in desperation to sign a sponsor for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, partnered with LGBCoin. This is a cryptocurrency that is a “memecoin” based off of the pivotal moment caused a huge controversy that has led to NASCAR banning the sponsor in an effort to distance itself in general from political content. But I think that this could only be the start of the problems for NASCAR. This is why NASCAR’s Brandon Brown controversy may get worse.
