Eight hundred watts doesn't sound like a lot of power these days when referring to car amplifiers. However, many enthusiasts still appreciate the speaker control and sound of Class AB amps. The Linear Power 8002 was one of the five "monster amps" tested by CA&E back in the October 1991 issue. There was an all-star cast of amps including the Rockford Fosgate Power 1000 Mosfet, HiFonics Colossus VII, Orion GS500, PPI 2350DM and the Linear Power 8002. Guess which one came out on top?
